A life long interest in the area of visual arts was made a reality when I resigned from my job in 1991 and embarked on an on-going learning experience of painting in oils.
I have taken a drawing course at Centre College from Sheldon Tapley and have participated in various workshops at the Artist's Attic in Lexington given by Marshall Heinz and Ilona Royce Smithkin.
My interest at this time is mainly still life and florals but plan to do more landscape painting.
The legacy I hope to hand down to my grandchildren is an appreciation of the visual arts.
