Lisa Schneider
I live in Danville with my husband and two sons and enjoy doing volunteer work at my son's school (currently it's Woodlawn Elementary) or at Sts. Peter & Paul Church. A lot of my time is spent keeping house for my pets: two cockatiels, a cat, a rabbit, a hamster and three humans (not necessarily in that order). I make time for my hobbies which include crafts, reading, writing the occasional short story and of course, art.
I have always loved art and took all of the art classes offered at my elementary and high school growing up. I studied at the University of Louisville, and since moving to Danville in 1984 and have taken various painting and craft classes from local artists including Jack Kellum and Margie Ellis. I also attend the Life drawing sessions at Centre college as well as painting with my friend Audrey Serres whenever we can fit our schedules together.
