Gathering Artist's Mission Statement
Gathering Artists is a network of seventy artists and craftspeople from Danville and surrounding communities who meet once a month to exchange ideas and information and to encourage each other's artistic endeavors. Additional activities are planned to provide educational and marketing opportunities for members and to encourage awareness and growth of art in the community.
This friendly informal group makes its headquarters at Mack Jackson's studio on Chrisman Lane, but may choose to meet at other locations when opportunities arise. A monthly newsletter keeps members informed of local and regional exhibits, marketing and educational opportunities, and future group activities. Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in the visual arts.
